BIO

 

Daria Yakovishina is an artist working with environment, sculpture, watercolor graphics and multimedia.
Graduated from St. Petersburg Stieglitz Academy (2016), Master's degree, Environmental Design.
Winner of international and  competitions of graphics and design. Had an internship in Rome. Works are in galleries and private collections.


Creates architectural concepts. On projects realized more than 40 objects: exhibition spaces, museums, etc.
In her works he experiments with images of real and imaginary environment, exploring the boundaries between what is capable of creating perfect nature and human artistic expression. 


Incorporates his ideas into visual genres of art. Follows his curiosity, an inner seeker and explorer. In her early childhood, observing life in the microscopes of her mother's laboratory, she dreamed of becoming a pioneering scientist, of looking into the previously unexplored. 


Using her experience in architectural design and watercolor graphics experiments with a variety of forms for her statements.
He uses sculpture, reliefs, light, watercolor and multimedia to express his concepts.

The space of the works is like an architectural landscape, there is no scale and the objects are not subordinated to each other.

Focuses on natural phenomena, exploring the formation and emergence of life, and the connection between nature and living things. It reveals these themes through form, tactility and airspace. Further analyzes the viewer's interaction with the objects created.

 

 Behind almost every project is a personal experience, and the impetus for the creation of the works are observations of nature and living things.
